SENIOR Tenants - Your Recertification is due before August 2024. If you have not Recertified, you may be at risk of losing your housing, please call our office to set up an appointment immediately.

SENIOR & DISABLED HOUSING - OUR BUILDINGS

The Long Beach Housing Authority presently manages four senior and adult disabled apartments complexes: 

 

Michael Valenti Apartments   415 National Blvd.

Morton Cohen Apartments    35 E. Broadway 

Sonny Duckman Apartments   175 W. Broadway

Sol Scher Apartments   225 W. Park Ave.

 

These are comprised of 264 federally HUD-assisted units.

 

 

Eligibility for senior/adult-disabled housing is based on: 1) annual gross income; 2) whether you qualify as elderly and/or a person with a disability; and 3) U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status.

How Can I Apply?

Our Senior & Disabled Housing Program is currently CLOSED to new applicants. 

 

*Applications will be available online when we are open and able to take new applicants.

Our current Waiting List is 3-4 years.
